GMB on international versions of Google

Hello All, Michael here with my first forum post. I was hoping someone could help me with the following. For one of my clients, I used a link builder who was able to get my clients GMB listing to appear on international versions of Google (i.e. Google.co.uk, Google.co.jp, etc.) in addition to the U.S. where they are based. What's interesting is that even on the international versions it still lists the company with their U.S. address.

I've been trying to reverse engineer this but I'm totally baffled. Any thoughts? How did they get a U.S. company's GMB listed on .UK, .jp, and other international versions of Google?
