About our Google SERP Snippet Simulator Tool
We created our SERP Snippet Optimization tool to optimize their visual appeal in Google search. Most SERP Simulators use a formula based on word count, which is a dated technique and isn't remotely accurate in this day and age. Google truncates snippet titles and Meta descriptions based on pixel width - not the number of characters you use!
Title Tag
Google will show up to 573px for Titles on desktop, and 550px on Mobile devices. If you exceed these values, Google will add an ellipsis (...).
URL
Google will show up to 536px for your URL on desktop, and 327px on Mobile devices. If you exceed these values, Google will add an ellipsis (...).
It should be noted that if your website is structured correctly, Google may use breadcrumbs in the URL section of the SERP Snippet. To increase the likelihood of this happening, we recommend using Breadcrumb Schema. If you have any issues with implementing the schema, feel free to ask for help on our SEO Forum - I'm sure they'll be many schema geeks on hand to help!
Meta Description
Google will show up to 930px for your Meta Description on desktop, and 905px on Mobile devices. If you exceed these values, Google will add an ellipsis (...).
