Is Website Speed play a important role in SEO?

I am updating the content on my website regularly (Especially Blogs) just to attract the traffic. Is there any other way I can increase the users, with a quicker website, for example?

You really have some major work to do on this site.

What concerns me more though is your offering SEO services but asking here how to do it.

Website speed is most certainly an important factor not just for rankings but for user experience and conversion rate.

Google just rolled up speed reports in the newer Google Search Console and offers a lot of useful tools for speed measurement.

Furthermore, Google implemented AMP pages to make the mobile device performance much faster - look into Google Accelerated Mobile Pages.

Well, website speed is that important, Google has just released speed reports in Webmaster Tools. If a website is slow, users tend to bounce very, very quickly. If a user bounces, this is a clear indicator that said the website isn't meeting Google's user's expectations.

It's already been pointed out, but alongside poor website speed having negative effects in the SERPs, it will also have a disastrous effect on conversion rates and UX.

When someone visits your site, it takes time for the site to load then it closes the website. Then it goes to another website.
If you want to make your site better reduce the size of your photos. Make the most of the content.

Search engines such as Google have indicated that site speed does play a role in the algorithm used to rank pages.  Researchers have also provided data on first bytes times which further supports Googles statement, while noting that a fast website will also allow Google bots to more time that leads to better indexation in search engines.

Recently, Polish researchers from the Poznan University of Technology have concluded that a websites ranking is directly correlated to crawl time, and page speed and not site speed.  Basically this means that a website can have a few pages that load on the slow site.  But it is important to have your landing page and crawl time fully optimized.

Another important benefit from a fast loading website is user experience, where faster loading pages tend to have lower bounce rates, higher on page times and an increase in conversion rates.

yes it is important  because User experience affects SEO, Paid Search, and Paid Social, which is why site speed is so important as it plays a direct role in user experience. ... This rate of people coming to your site and those that bounce is called a bounce rate. If a site has a slow load time, people will not stick around and they will bounce.
