Improving the load time for my blog pages

Hi there,

I have an issue with the load time performance for my blog pages when I checked with Google PageSpeed Insights. Here is the tracking link: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fsucculentsbox.com%2Fblogs%2Fblog%2Fhow-to-care-for-string-of-pearls

I resize and compress the images but the other factors also significantly impact load performance. How do I improve the load time effectively for this blog post below?

The biggest problem is the platform you are using, I see you're using Shopify so a lot of what can be done to increase the speed of the site is out of your control.

I am not knocking Shopify but it is what it is, I believe it's easy to use and get a site up and running quickly but if you want speed and control then you need to change platforms.

Good advice?

You better take advice from any website designer. Hopefully the problem will be solved

You have quite a slow site... but you can fix it.. You just have to know where to look...

Go use Gtmetrix.com and it will explain some of your issues and you can start to improve your site...

May be flash content is adding up to the load and slowing down your page speed.

You should look at the site and not guess...
