Question For Those Working In The Computer Field

Job Title: retired (semi) Last Title CTO

Did you go to school for it?: There were no schools/courses when I started. (1981)

Self-employed or work for a company?: I have done both in my time but my last job working for a company was around 1988, I got fed up of writing huge projects and the companies folding before release so went self-employed. 

Switched to programming for the web early 1990's 

Job title: Work for myself, so I don't really have one. People who pay for my services often call me the "SEO guy" or "SEO expert" 

School: No, there's no such thing. Which is awesome really - no need to pay thousands. Just learn SEO, & then keep up to date. That is what matters.

Job: SEO Specialist

School: Learned SEO over the years since 2001 whilst working in another, totally different, career. It's a fast moving area where the core principles mostly stay the same. I use books, YouTube, Koozai TV, SEO-focused websites and forums to learn and keep up.
