SEO on single-page website, will it work?

Single-page websites can be very nice on the eye, but they are not good for SEO. A big part of a strategy in SEO, is internal linking. Unfortunately, a single-page website cannot do this. Meaning all the link juice is funnelling to one page. 

Having multiple pages allows you to distribute your PageRank correctly, and with anchor text allow Google to know what the purpose of each page is for. 

It's very rare to see a SPA rank well in any search engine. I wouldn't recommend.

Work in SEO ? well your terminology is wrong here, yes it will work in SEO but will it rank I think is what your asking. 

For anything competitive the short answer is no, not a chance. A website is typically made up af many pages, each will own their own page rank, this page rank will / should flow around your site boosting pages from your internal linking scheme. A single page fails on this score so unless its going to attract a ton of external backlinks then it will not have the same ranking power as a normal style website. 

For front end development I would advise to steer clear of React or any of the other frameworks until such time they can produce code that bots can read. 

It would work in the ages of 7 years ago, when the blog or article was many many less than nawadays. Google is updating it't algorithm regularly . So It will not be a good practice for today.

The Bottom Line. I believe that single-page websites are not as effective for SEO as multi-page websites. You should also consider your consumers and target audience when deciding which site would provide them with the most satisfactory web experience.

It's going to depend on what your particular area is, what the topic is, and what kind of layout you come out with.

Google is mainly based on quality backlinks and you better give the backlink for you website

As a personal website one-page website is very fine. But if your target is service-based then the one page website will be a problem. Because first of all, you can not put much information on one page if you do then the design may hamper. And the looks may destroy. Secondly, its not all good for SEO. In the beginning, your website’s bounce rate may matter because of a lack of information. And you can not target landing pages for SEO activities. There is only one landing page. 

Single Page SEO is tough but it is not known as bad practice. There might be some reasons for those who are willing to do One Page SEO.

See people generally make a single-page website when they are going to do a temporary collaboration with another brand. In this case, the source of traffic is from TVs, flyers, and works & are less dependent on search engines.
