Thesis about SEO and the prevalence of AI

Hey! I am writing my thesis, which will be about the prevalence and importance of Artificial Intelligence in Search Engine Optimization. How does AI occur today in SEO? How will it be used in the future?

I will also describe the development of SEO, what SEO looks like today, and what it will look like in the future.

I am therefore looking for some good articles that can be the basis for the essay. These should preferably be peer-reviewed. If you work in the field, I would also be interested to hear your thoughts on future SEO. Which factors will play the biggest role? What will be less important? What differentiates yesterday's SEO from the current application of SEO?
