I have an eCommerce site with only one keyword in the domain name. I have I registered two other domain names with keyword rich URLs. All three are with the same hosting company.
Assuming searches find the two rich sites (with no content) will a 301 redirect take visitors to my main site?
It doesn't matter about the content. When a redirect is implemented it will take you to the redirected URL.
Once the redirect is programmed, the content of the redirected site is no longer available for anyone to see and this includes Google too.
